City in the Snow was created by Kristina in her home studio, using pouring acrylics in some of her favorite colors, and a swiping technique, on canvas. Wanting the subtle layered effect and muted interplay of colors be the focus of the piece, Kristina took a minimalist approach to indicating the snowy landscape and the people out for a walk, in black and white.
